What is the Performance Fund?

In 2000 the PF was introduced. The PF was insurance for the mare owner breeding to the nominated stallion, that the offspring would be eligible to run in the Futurity.

As the PF grew, the money was paid out as an incentive to the stallion and horse owners.

The stallion owners wanted to include all horse owners and asked that PF runs be added as an incentive so owners would use the offspring and promote the nominated stallion.

IN 2008 a PF Futurity, with other events was started, and 2010 will be host of the 3rd annual $1,000 added PF Futurity run. The date is July 31, and August 1st, with the location  pending.
