Haven Finals for 2008’s
Barrel
Racing Summer Series is Aug 28th
1.
You must attend and participate in at least 5 of the Doubleheader
Events schedule at the Horse Haven’s Bold Heart Barrel Racing Summer Series to
be eligible for the Horse Haven Finals prizes.
2.
You must compete in at
least 5 of the Doubleheader Events in each class that you want to participate
for prizes.
3.
You may win only one
prize for the Finals. If you qualify
for more than one prize you choose which one you want.
4.
There is no extra fee to
participate in the Finals.
5.
Points will be awarded
for placings on the day of the Finals only.
The person/persons with the highest points in each class will win the
prize/prizes. If 3D is used that day
– 1st=3 points, 2nd=2 points, 3rd= 1 point.
If 4D is used – 1st= 4 points, 2nd= 3 points, 3rd=
2 points, and 4th= 1 point. Each
level of “D” will be awarded the same amount of points.
After both runs have been run the person with the highest number of
point’s wins. If there is a tie
the tiebreaker will be the person whose runs were the closest time wise to each
other. If there is still a tie there
will be a run off and the person closest to their times for that day will win.
Most points and consistency is what will win the prizes.
6. If things come to light as the year goes on that needs to be addressed as far
as the rules are concerned, Horse Haven reserves the right to make those
adjustments.
Any changes will be either posted on the web site and/or made known on
the day of the Finals.
